Elliot has led various projects ranging in scale from masterplan proposals to multi million pound new developments for both end users and developers.

He has worked on many of BDP’s award winning workplace projects and has been instrumental in winning work in a variety of sectors including workplace, retail and transport both in the UK and abroad. Elliot led the team delivering Google’s new headquarters in King’s Cross. He is currently part of the design leadership team for the Restoration and Renewal of the Palace of Westminster.

Most exciting innovation in architecture/design

Use of 3D printing for both design opportunities and to decrease construction time. In the next few years we’ll see more experimental materials and fabrication techniques being developed through the use of 3D printing.

Palace of Westminster Restoration and Renewal

BDP was awarded a full interdisciplinary contract for client advisory services to help ensure the safe and secure future of the Grade I listed Palace of Westminster.

Wuhan Shopping Mall

Mixing, function, practicality and the sophisticated simplification of form, with the strong water element of the city, integrates the principles of Scandinavian design into the local Chinese context.

Wuxi Ikea Shopping Mall

The concept includes IKEA as unique anchor store plus a hypermarket, and further anchor store, international and domestic fashion retailers, substantial restaurant & cafe offers, electronic and sports destinations, cinema and other entertainment venues.

Jubilee Place, Canary Wharf

A below ground retail environment at Canary Wharf. Jubilee Place comprises a primary, below ground, mall with full height glazed shop frontages, an elliptical court with integral stepped seating and high quality food hall.

The building for the DIY retailer is designed around an entrance atrium which is the main heart space and includes areas for meeting, relaxation and interaction.

Google submits King’s Cross Campus for planning

Google has submitted an application for planning permission to Camden Council for its proposed King’s Cross Campus in London. BDP is lead consultant and design delivery architect for the project, and we are also working on the workplace planning, interior and lighting design.
