New Civil Engineer UK Rail Conference

When: 22nd – 23rd June
Where: Inmarsat, 99 City Road, London, EC1Y 1AX

Glasgow studio architect associate Edward Dymock will present on the first day of New Civil Engineer’s UK Rail Conference. He will speak at 11.50 in the Breakout B session on the redevelopment of Glasgow Queen Street station to meet increasing passenger numbers and maximise the benefits of the Edinburgh Glasgow Improvement Programme. The proposals will see a 1970s structure replaced with a new glazed concourse and dramatic roof structure that celebrates the Grade A listed train shed at its centre. Station facilities will be upgraded and platforms extended to accommodate eight car trains.

New Civil Engineer’s UK rail conference is now in its third year and features expert speakers from across the rail industry with breakout and plenary sessions as well as networking opportunities. Places can be booked using the link below.
