The Big Conversation

When: Tuesday 17th September 8.00 – 10.00
Where:
BDP, 15 Exchange Place, Glasgow G1 3AN

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of our Glasgow studio the team will be holding a number of Big Conversation events which aim to create a lively and challenging forum to discuss key issues affecting design in the built environment now. The first in this studio series looks at the changing role of the architect and BDP Chair, Chris Harding will present alongside our head of information technology and process, Alistair Kell. They will be joined by Martin McKay, executive director of regeneration at Clyde Gateway which is Scotland’s biggest and most ambitious regeneration programme. He will give a client’s perspective and together they will explore how the traditional role of the architect is evolving and the technological change in the profession.

Breakfast will be provided and following the presentations there will be an opportunity for a general discussion and networking. This event is now fully booked, however please look out for future events in the series which will focus on a wide range of topics including Education, BIM, Transport and Learning and which will be publicised later in the year.
