BDP up for four CIBSE Awards

BDP has been shortlisted for four CIBSE Building Performance Awards next year, that champion international engineering excellence in the built environment and focus on actual, measured performance outcomes.

Building Services Engineering director Chris Croly, of the Dublin studio, has been nominated for building performance engineer, which recognises an individual’s contribution towards the built environment. BDP is also shortlisted in the building performance consultancy category, which identifies consultancies that spread knowledge of best practice approaches, whilst meeting and exceeding clients expectations.

The National Gallery of Ireland is in the running for international project of the year and One Angel Square in Northampton is up for commercial/industrial project of the year. These two awards celebrate the buildings that offer high levels of user satisfaction whilst delivering outstanding measured building performance, energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions.

The winners will be announced on 12 February at the Grosvenor House in London. BDP won the building performance consultancy award earlier this year.
