Andrew Teage

Andy leads Town Planning profession in the North of England. 

He was heavily involved in the Liverpool One development and is also involved in the wider city region and Merseyside undertaking plans ranging from strategic developments to visions and masterplans.

He has been central to the continued and positive momentum of BDP’s achievements within Liverpool, particularly in contributing to future successful urban change in a city in which BDP is based.

Andy made a personal contribution to the final chapter of BDP’s book, The Regeneration of a City Centre, suggesting what the future of Liverpool might be post 2008 and completion of BDP’s Liverpool One development, and how BDP can continue to contribute positively to change in this great city.

Looking ahead, what will be the key characteristic of the industry in 2050?
‘People’planning – exploring how, as spatial planners and designers, we can make a difference in the way we live, act and behave by understanding and examining the values that affect our daily lives and how this will influence the way we use, influence and design space and place in the future.
