BDP Supports Clerkenwell Design Week

Two events will be taking place in BDP’s Hub at Brewhouse Yard during Clerkenwell Design Week 22 – 24 May.

• An exhibition displaying five selected furniture pieces from entries to the Mix Interiors’ Mixology Student Design Awards;
• A Timeline showing the history of BDP’s Interior Design studio from inception in the early 70s to date.

BDP Design Director Mark Simpson, who was a judge for some of the Mixology Award categories, said of the Timeline “BDP was one of the first of the major architecture/engineering firms to set up a dedicated interior design unit and has offered Interior Design as both an integrated and stand alone service since the early 1970s. This is the perfect opportunity to showcase the development of the studio.”

Copies of BDP’s book 61/11 BDP. Continuous Collective (celebrating BDP’s 50th anniversary) will be available, for free, to visitors during Clerkenwell Design Week.
