Where: Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT
Chair of landscape architecture, Andrew Tindsley, will present at a free NLA breakfast talk on how BDP is delivering improved public spaces across four of the Crossrail stations. The design approach to Maryland, Forest Gate, Manor Park and Ilford presents an excellent opportunity to use the public realm to integrate successfully the remodelled stations more closely into their environs. The talk accompanies the Places and Spaces exhibition, on display 22 July – 15 August, which looks at how each of the designs for 27 Crossrail stations within Greater London has included urban realm studies, proposing public spaces and above ground property developments to improve the user experience.
