Beijing Ikea Shopping Mall

The concept for this store district, like the others includes IKEA as unique anchor, hypermarket, international and domestic fashion retailers, substantial restaurant & cafe offers, electronic and sports destinations, cinema and other entertainment venues.

It is located on Beijing’s 5th ring road and has connections to the light rail system and a number of bus stops throughout the scheme.

  • the largest of three new-format retail and leisure developments in China for Inter Ikea

Results

  • the 250,000 m2 project in the Daxing district creates a three level shopping and leisure complex with three subterranean car park levels for 7000 cars pus an addition office  park development  with strong transport links
  • the overall scheme consists of six individual buildings
