Edinburgh Drinking Water

An environmental flagship project acting as a model for the future.

Discreetly concealed underneath Scotland’s largest green roof on the edge of the Pentland hills, the project will provide all the capital’s needs for fresh drinking water well into the future.

The project will generate much of its own power needs through gravity hydro-turbines, whilst encouraging bio-diversity through surrounding drainage wetlands.
