La Part Dieu

Refurbishment of one of France’s largest modern shopping centres.

We created a consistent interior visual language over a number of different phased buildings and spaces, bringing light and views into what was previously a largely internal environment.

We extended existing areas and created new shopping places with new public spaces and facilities such as food and entertainment. We completely re-worked the circulation system.

Brief

  • rebrand and reposition an existing popular 1970s regional centre
  • develop a cohesive visual language within the context of a wide range of spatial types
  • satisfy the needs and aspirations of a diverse client and customer group

Results

  • we brought a new perception of quality to an existing environment
  • we created long term value and sustainability
