La Seyne sur Mer

International competition winning design of former naval dockyard in southern France.

Built on a former ship repair yard, this new  park signals the first stage in a major strategy for the town’s regeneration.

It occupies two km of prime Mediterranean coastline and is structured with a series of sweeping walkways and tree lined avenues, a quayside promenade and a parade of follies and sculpted sails.  The park is instrumental in linking the town centre to the sea.
