NikeTown Refurbishment

Integral to the impact of the design are the spectacular chandeliers which act as visual merchandising, incorporating Nike clothing into the structure.

Three ‘shoe chandeliers’ have been created, each with about 500 shoes attached which are then individually lit by custom built LEDs.

The project scope transformed and extended quickly and the lighting team had to move fast to deliver the design on time.

Brief

  • redevelop flagship London store as part of Nike’s global rebrand strategy
  • expand the store from three floors to four and include new experiences

Results

  • the pinnacle retail destination for the Nike brand in the world
  • this dramatic redesign has created the world’s largest Nike store
