Project details

Architectural sensitivity was key in the lighting intervention; a minimalist approach was favoured by the design team to ensure the architecture was allowed to shine without competition. The lighting was designed to complement, not compete.

One of the main challenges was to uplight the spectacular roof and spotlighting to the exhibits on the mezzanine whilst preserving architectural sensitivity. The solution was three custom 9m diameter suspended rings with integrated fluorescent uplighting and custom curved track for spotlighting.
