World Expo 2010, Liverpool Pavilion

We designed and built a pavilion, showcasing Liverpool, working closely with the designers of exhibition content and with the event specialists to create three experience pods, an interactive media wall and VIP and management facilities.

Brief

  • create a vibrant and engaging environment to  showcase the city to a global audience
  • create an experience to  present Liverpool as a diverse cultural city
  • take visitors on a virtual journey across the entire North West region

Results

  • a double height glass box which provided
  • a vibrant and engaging environment.
  • a successful showcase for Liverpool to 770,000 visitors in 6 months
  • award for best model city pavilion in the urban best practice area
