Freddie Ribeiro

Freddie Ribeiro leads the landscape architecture profession in the India studio. A fundamental and consistent principle in his works is the integration of water management systems and renewable design to create environments, which are sustainable and socially responsive.

He has been an integral member of design teams for masterplans of townships, IT parks, highways & transport networks and housing settlements. Most of his work has been executed in and around climatic conditions as diverse as Bangalore, Dehra Dun, Sikkim, Goa and Kutchch. He has also been responsible for the masterplan and comprehensive landscape design of beach resorts in Goa, district level hospitals in Gujarat, industrial projects in Bangalore and a toll highway in Noida.

Prior to joining BDP in 2010, Freddie ran an independent practice for ten years. He is currently engaged in the development of appropriate landscape and ecological initiatives across various regions of the Subcontinent.
