Michelle is a principal and leads our civil and structural engineering group across the practice.
Her approach is based on the conviction that architects and engineers thinking together from the start of a project will produce better building design.
She has worked on many major healthcare and education programmes in the UK and major projects including the Royal Albert Hall and award-winning offices for the BBC and Roche.
In 2010, Michelle was chair of the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and was awarded an MBE for services to the construction industry. In 2011, she was awarded a fellowship by the Royal Academy of Engineering and was named Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year. In 2012 she was named the ACE's Engineering Ambassador of the Year and in 2014 was given a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Women in Construction Awards.
Michelle regularly judges awards for the British Construction Industry and Veuve Clicquot and sits on the Royal Academy of Engineering Diversity Forum.
