Scott is a principal and head of Glasgow studio. Scott has worked on many major further and higher education projects.

While leading the education sector in Glasgow, Scott helped grow the studio without an education portfolio to its current position as a major influence on Scottish educational design.

Scott has worked on a great number of new build facilities including Inverness College UHI, Dumfries and Galloway College and New Lanarkshire College. He is also project director for the Robert Gordon University Garthdee Campus, which involves the consolidation of the University's estate at a stunning campus on the banks of the River Dee.

Where do you see the architecture profession in 2050?

Despite how hectic and complex things appear to us now, we will look back and yearn for these simple days.

Saltire Centre

Stimulating university anchored in good conversation. Using the idea that learning begins with a conversation, we created a wide range of environments to stimulate thought or discussion.

Edinburgh Napier University, Business School

Refurbishment and extension of existing building to change focus and create multi-use campus. Our business school commission followed on from our masterplan to consolidate the university’s widely scattered facilities.

The aim of the Technology and Innovation Centre is to facilitate change in the ways that the university and industry engage.

Newmains & St Brigid's Community Hub

A greenfield site in the neighbourhood of Newmains has been identified for this new campus to co-locate two single stream primary schools and Newmains Family Centre on a campus that offers community facilities and inspirational learning spaces.

This new campus in Prestwick accommodates contemporary learning environments for two primary schools and an early years facility, whilst also welcoming the wider community to make use of its sports facilities and community spaces during school hours.
