Steve is a building services engineering director with a strong background in low energy design, masterplanning and infrastructure.

Steve advises the practice on how to maintain and improve inhouse sustainability as well as on projects and in doing so reduce our environmental impact and enhance our environmental credentials. He is a member of the reviewing panel for our bdplab which brings together the innovation and research explored across the practice, as well as acting as a stimulus for new research initiatives with both academia and industry.

He has led the environmental design of a number of key projects including a major sport and leisure development in east Manchester, the Enterprise South Liverpool Academy and the Nanjing Medical University in China.

Steve is a registered BREEAM assessor, Energy Performance Certificate Assessor, ECOHOMES assessor and a CIBSE low carbon consultant and was previously named as one of Building Magazine's Top 50 Rising Sustainability Stars.
