Information

BDP has had a studio in Sheffield since 1974 when Sir George Grenfell Baines, the company’s founder and then Professor of Architecture at the University of Sheffield, created the Design Teaching Practice.

The studio’s work has been recognised with a number of awards including RIBA, RICS, BCO, BCSC, ICSC and RTPI.

Most recently we have worked successfully on a new local landmark at Blackburn Meadows, turning the old cooling towers’ site into an iconic new power station.
