Retail: A Return to the Centre

When: Wednesday 22nd October 09.30 – 16.00
Where: FACT, 88 Wood Street, Liverpool L1 4DQ

Retail director Tom Hewitt will be one of several presenters at an RTPI North West event looking at the debate about retail in the wider context of city and town centre planning strategy.  He will speak on the subject of the designer’s perspective about how good design of retail environments can promote the value of centres, make a positive contribution and give a stronger identity to the wider urban environment.  The presentations will focus on 3 case studies of a small town, medium town and a major city and explore a series of issues thematically from differing points of view.  Tickets can be booked using the link below.

The event will be introduced and chaired by Peter Drummond, BDP’s Southern Region Chairman, and following all the presentations he will lead a Q&A session.
