Architect @ Work China

Architect director Peter Marshall is one of the speakers at the A @ W 2015 conference in Shanghai.  He will present on the first day at 13.30 on the subject of urban regeneration using BDP’s Liverpool One project as an exemplar case study of how to reconnect different areas of a city to make them more sustainable, efficient and attractive places in which to live and work.  BDP’s interdisciplinary team masterplanned a 42 acre site in Liverpool to create a mixed-use development of new and refurbished buildings, streets and spaces working with 18 other architectural practices to deliver the project.

Peter is based in our Shanghai studio and specialises in commercially driven projects which include hotels such as the Fuqing Rongqiao Luxury Hotel which will complete on site next year. He has led the design of several major mixed-use city centre developments and urban masterplans along with residential and office towers.
