Autodesk University 2015

Associate Elliott Crossley is one of the session speakers at Autodesk University Las Vegas, the world’s largest gathering of Autodesk software users.  More than 10,000 design, engineering and manufacturing professionals are expected to attend to explore the latest technologies, discover groundbreaking trends and network with their peers.

Elliott’s session, at 13.00 on Thursday 3rd December, is titled From CAD Monkey to BIMpanzee: The Evolution of Design Technology at BDP.  In it he will explain how innovation helps to deliver in an interdisciplinary environment and how our processes led to BDP becoming the first UK business to achieve BIM Level 2 certification.   He will analyse several large complex projects including Alder Hey Children’s Healthpark, Brighton 3Ts hospital, Dixons Allerton Academy at Bradford and AstraZeneca’s new Global R&D Centre and Corporate HQ to illustrate the BIM toolbox from inception to construction and how it has evolved and continues to develop.
