Future of London - Communities in Transition: Whitechapel

Anna SinnottWhen: Thursday 28th May 15.45 – 18.00
Where: Perrin Lecture Theatre, Blizzard Institute, 4 Newark Street, London E1 2AT

Planning director Anna Sinnott is one of the speakers for a Future of London Communities in Transition visit to Whitechapel to see how the healthcare and life sciences sector is driving development in the area.  She will present BDP’s masterplans for the Whitechapel Vision which focuses on six key areas, including the revitalisation of Whitechapel Road and the creation of a striking civic hub. It will also deliver over 3,500 new homes by 2025, generate 5,000 jobs, and create seven new public squares and open spaces. Anna and her team have worked closely with the council and local stakeholders to listen to their ideas and aspirations for the area and to ensure the masterplan reflects a collaborative vision for the area.  A walking tour will be followed by networking over drinks and the event is free to attend but places are limited and must be booked by applying to events@futureoflondon.org.uk

Future of London  is an independent, not-for-profit policy network focused on the challenges facing urban regeneration, housing and economic development practitioners.
