Head of lighting Mark Ridler will present Lighting Landscapes – The Rules of Attraction on the second day of this year’s Landscape Show. He will demonstrate how the primary purpose of lighting the public realm is to facilitate the activities that take place there and enhance the mood of those who live, work and enjoy that realm. Mark believes that lighting design should be rooted in a desire to reveal and support architectural form, the ideas that underpin it and the functions it serves and will use examples of recent BDP projects including Thomas More Square, Watford Parade, The Hive, Brown Hart Gardens, EICC and Trinity Leeds to illustrate his philosophy and practice.
Landscape Show is the UK's leading event dedicated to products, services and innovation for the design, build and management of exterior and interior landscape projects and is visited by leading landscape and interior designers, architects and contractors.
