Renewing Cities: Building Environments for New Generations

When: Thursday 6th October 12.00 – 22.00
Where: Cinema Florin Piersic, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Chairman David Cash will present Designing Cities as Places for People at this year’s Architecture Conference & Expo in Transylvania. Using the city of Liverpool as an example he will show how key BDP projects, completed over a 20 year period, have contributed to the city’s successful revitalisation. Projects will include Liverpool One, Enterprise South Liverpool Academy, St John Bosco College, the current award winning Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and the work in progress at Copperas Hill.

The conference will highlight the impact of technology in architecture, green buildings, the importance of public transport and urban spaces for designing for future generations in the context of rapid digitisation and urban growth.
