Landscape architect director Mehron Kirk is a presenter at the annual DAAD festival in Bratislava which celebrates architecture, design and art with a series of lectures, exhibitions and workshops throughout its weekly duration. He will talk about international landscape architecture design and the increasing importance of public green spaces in modern cities. BDP is currently working with the developer HB Reavis to design a unique rooftop environment in Bratislava which is set to become one of the most successful destinations in Slovakia. The development is a new retail and office hub with an integrated bus station which will act as a key gateway into Bratislava and the landscape design aims to create a fully flexible space to accommodate a wide range of activities for visitors and the local community.
Mehron will also illustrate his talk with other award winning landscape projects including UK Pavilion at Milan Expo, Brown Hart Gardens in London and Boxpark, Croydon which was recently the recipient of an RIBA regional award.
