e-luminate Cambridge

WHEN: 10th-15th February
WHERE: Guildhall, Cambridge, CB2 3QJ

Lighting designers Colin Ball, Lora Kaleva and Sarah Alsayed are creating Stream of Light, an exciting façade installation for the Guildhall, Cambridge as part of this year’s e-Luminate Festival in Cambridge. Incorporating a blend of art, light and latest technology the installation takes inspiration from the diverse changing lights in a city which cast random shadows and project a stream of movement and change. The team has taken this sense of movement and random texture to deconstruct the Guildhall’s façade in a surprising way, avoiding standard flood or spotlighting to show urban night time in a different light.

e-Luminate Cambridge is a contemporary arts festival for a city which is at the forefront of scientific and technological research and the event offers a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy the richness and diversity of Cambridge’s iconic buildings and public spaces. Tickets can be booked using the link below.
