LEAF International

When: 17th – 18th October
Where: Marriott Hotel, Frankfurt, Germany

Architect director Mike Hitchmough is a panellist on the first day of LEAF International 2018 and will join Professor Paolo di Trapani (CoeLux Technology), Joyce Chan, (HOK), Sean Clifton (Jestico and Whiles Architects) and Elvin Box (Mace) to discuss creating healthy interiors. They will look at promoting wellness through interior design, the changing face of the workplace and how technology in design is helping to transform environments. Mike will talk about his recent project, the Bright Building at the centre of Manchester Science Park (MSP), which is the first element of our masterplan and sets the standard for new development within the Manchester Science Partnerships’ portfolio. He will also look at our work for MSP in developing a 400-acre life science campus to transform Alderley Park into a thriving open innovation community for life science businesses with over 7,000 high-value jobs planned on site in the next decade. Both projects reflect the great progress being made in bringing together real estate and innovations in the tech sector and the growing importance of collaboration and how good interior design can facilitate this.

The forum promises to bring together senior decision makers from leading international architectural practices, contractors, developers, engineers, designers and suppliers to discuss future build projects as well as sharing ideas and best practice within the industry.
