When: Tuesday 6th March 16.00 - 20.00
Where: Watershed, 1 Cannons Road, Harbourside, Bristol BS1 5TX

As part of the celebrations for International Women’s Day, Bristol director Yuli Cadney-Toh will speak at an RIBA event at the Watershed cinema. The evening will begin with a special screening of the film Citizen Jane, Battle for the City which examines the fight for cities as explored by Jane Jacobs in her book ‘The Death and Life of Great American Cities.’ Following the screening there will be an opportunity to network before Yuli and Una Breathnach-Hifearnain (Purcell) talk about why they chose architecture as a profession and look at some of their favourite projects. Yuli will present on tall buildings and projects of scale in particular the International Towers, Barangaroo, Sydney and Edge Pier, Gatwick.

Alice Hardy (Jan Kattein) will finish by talking about Blue House Yard, shortlisted for the 2018 MacEwen award which is supported by BDP as we host the judges each year in our London studio and the awards lunch.

Tickets for the event are free for RIBA members and student members and can be booked using the link below.
