Women in Planning

BDP’s planning team is hosting Women in Planning for a festive evening of celebration in the London studio. Planning director Tessa O’Neill will present on some of the challenges the industry has faced during the current year and look ahead to what she expects will be the big issues in 2019.  She will discuss her role at BDP where she is responsible for directing the planning and urban design group in London and the south of England, focusing on urban regeneration, urban design, masterplanning, planning policy and planning and development consultancy. She will talk about recent and current projects including Jersey General Hospital, King’s College London student village, the award-winning Maldon Design Guide and work in Acapulco, Qingdao, China and Bach Dang, Vietnam. Tessa is also advising on the planning strategy for Parliament for the Restoration and Renewal of the Palace of Westminster.

Women in Planning is an independent network that aims to promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive planning industry. Its membership fits its vision with a wide and inclusive network reflecting the diversity of work and sectors in the planning industry.
