BDP commissioned for Birmingham School Expansion

We have been commissioned to design a new learning resource centre at Bishop Vesey Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield. The building will accommodate a new library, sixth form facilities, an extended dining area and additional teaching accommodation to facilitate the planned increase in sixth form students over the next five years.

Located within a conservation area and adjacent to the original 1729 school building, the new facility will be designed to respect the sensitivities and complexities associated with the historic context as well as respond to the functional brief provided by the school.
