Air India CIP Lounge

Facts

Location Client Completion
Heathrow Airport, London Air India 2013

Project details

Air India was one of the first International operators to be based at Heathrow and had occupied their old lounge in Terminal 3 for over 25 years, before being required to relocate to Terminal 4 as part of Heathrow’s terminal reorganisation.

Their new CIP lounge compromises a series of settings including a reception area, lounge and cafe and bar area. A large super-graphic of Air India’s founder Mr Tata features in the reception area and the airline’s own collection of original art work was implemented into the scheme. We also selected the lounge furniture.

Brief

  • design a modern CIP lounge to capture the spirit of Air India and honour the airline's strong sense of aviation heritage and culture.

Results

  • a design that meets the client's financial and operational criteria.
