Project details

Refurbishment of a 3500m2 existing office building for Trinity College Dublin. Works included introducing a natural ventilation system to the front facade which responds to environmental conditions automatically. Natural ventilation openings include acoustic baffles to limit noise from the busy street below.

The works had to be carefully planned to avoid disruption to the operation of the surrounding buildings and protect the health and safety of the users of surrounding buildings.

  • works included a new control system for facade windows, boiler room refurbishment and modifications to water and waste services to comply with part M of the Building Regulations
  • electrical engineering services works included a complete rewire of basement to 3rd floor level including power, data, lighting and fire alarm systems
