Information

Manchester Studio is home to an interdisciplinary team of award winning architects, engineers, designers and urbanists. The team’s portfolio covers a wide range of sectors, scales, clients and building types. Recently completed projects include Oldham Town Hall redevelopment,  Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Victoria Station Manchester, BOXPARK Croydon and the relocation of our UK Pavilion for the 2015 Milan Expo to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew.

The BDP designed studio, situated along the Piccadilly Basin, provides large open-plan areas including a central hub space at ground floor level with views over the canal, creating an inspiring environment for meeting, thinking and creating.

Sue was appointed Chair for our North Region in 2019 and is responsible for guiding the strategy for our Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds, and Liverpool studios. She is also Global Head for Education, having designed and delivered some of our most innovative and award winning education projects.
