Planning director Anna Sinnott is one of the presenters for an intensive one-day course, organised by UCL Urban Laboratory, on university urbanism focusing on campus development and university-led urban regeneration. Aimed at developers and consultants, university estates professionals, town planners, masterplanning firms, and architectural practices, the course will address specific industry challenges in the field of university-led urban regeneration through comparative case studies and good practice guidelines on university campus development. Anna will present on the work she and her team have done at St George’s Quarter, London South Bank University as planning consultants for the developing designs for new academic buildings and publicly accessible open spaces on the Southwark campus. She has been providing planning advice to the university for the past five years and is currently preparing the application to submit for detailed planning and listed building consent at the end of October. BDP is also providing building services engineering and BREEAM advice expertise on this project. Anna will also discuss her recent work for Queen Mary University, London and the masterplan for Whitechapel Vision including Crossrail.

UCL Urban Laboratory is a cross-disciplinary centre for critical and creative urban thinking, teaching, research and practice, based at University College London.
