Fielden House is a 1930s purpose built office block within the Smith Square Conservation Area in Westminster. It is considered a building of merit, with its handsome architecture and sympathetic design that complements the domestic character of surrounding streets, contributng to the character and appearance of the conservation area.

Brief

  • explore options for maximising floor space and occupancy
  • provide a flexible floor plan, able to be used as either open-plan working space or different layouts of cellular offices
  • replace the life-expired heating, electrical and cooling systems
  • facilitate the possible use of smart working systems in flexible, reconfigurable office space
