Akshay is an architecture director and leads the Education and Workplace teams in the Bristol studio.
He has led a wide range of projects which include the international HQ for the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) in Reading and the University of Bristol’s Dental School along with international projects such as the masterplan of the Indian Institute of Technology in India and University of Birmingham’s Dubai campus.
His focus is to generate design solutions, which are user centred, sustainable, influenced by the context of the project and deliverable. He brings cross pollination of thinking between the workplace and education environments as wellbeing, flexibility and collaborative spaces are at the core of working and learning. He has fostered a close working relationship with clients ensuring clear communication resulting in the smooth delivery of projects
