Marc is head of graphic design for the practice and has had a design and creative career that spans over thirty years.

Passionate about the built environment, he leads the wayfinding and graphic design team at BDP and finds the intersection between architecture and graphic design a natural fit for his design interests. His love of typography, design history and design theory are defining elements in his creative solutions.

Marc has led and contributed to many wayfinding projects including the new Research and Development building for AstraZeneca in Cambridge, New Covent Garden Market, London, Mivida Retail Mall, New Cairo, 64 Victoria a 24-storey tower building in London and The Barton Science Centre at Tonbridge School.

New Covent Garden Market

Covent Garden Market has been nourishing London with fresh produce and flowers from its location in Nine Elms for over 40 years. Our team was tasked with creating a signage masterplan for the market, which was developed through to tender and construction.

We worked with the University of London and our interior designers on a graphic design and navigation system for Senate House in Bloomsbury.

Installation designed to create an outdoor museum in a commercial setting.

University of Wales

The new wayfinding scheme for the University of Wales is shown here in the Newport campus. We designed a scheme that takes reference from the new architecture, including a series of supergraphics. The supergraphics bring character and personality to the building and work alongside the clean lines of the sign system.
