We recognise that healthcare buildings are places where many of us will experience life’s most profound events. Irrespective of size, our designs pay close attention to clinical effectiveness and efficiency but always prioritise the needs of the individual – patients, visitors and the staff who care for them.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham

Hospital sets new teaching and healing standards. We developed an ‘ideal hospital’ concept through intensive consultation with patients, visitors, staff and the trust’s clinical review groups.

Waterfall House, Birmingham Children's Hospital

The four storey building, home to the UK's first pioneering Rare Diseases Centre for Children, comprises a combined inpatient and outpatient cancer centre and three new operating theatres.

Plot 4, Pebble Mill

The Plot 4 at Pebble Mill is part of a wider mixed medical facility containing a 114,000 sqft oral theatre suite and cancer treatment centre, located between the Dental Hospital to the west, occupying plot 2-3 and the new Private Health Clinic to the east occupying plot 5.

BDP raises funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity

At the end of last month, a team of 15 brave rowers from our Birmingham studio took part in the annual Dragon Boat Race, raising over £2000 for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Trust. The course stretched along Birmingham’s historic canals, and saw some familiar local company teams such as Graham Construction, Cushman and Wakefield and Gymshark compete against one another to take home the coveted trophy.
