Head of Manchester studio Gavin Elliott will join a study tour of East Croydon to present BDP’s designs for Boxpark, Croydon with Roger Wade (CEO Boxpark) and Matthew McMillan (London Borough of Croydon) as part of New London Architecture’s conference programme looking at the future vision for Croydon.  This afternoon programme brings together local stakeholders, council representatives, developers and occupiers for briefing and study tours followed by networking drinks at RISE Gallery.

Boxpark is constructed of stripped and refitted shipping containers and will include 80 units arranged around a covered courtyard space made available for year-round events. In line with its Shoreditch forerunner, it will focus on small independent retailers to create a unique shopping and dining experience. This will transform the quality of the retail and leisure offer in Croydon and is expected to draw customers and new businesses from across the region when it opens in the summer of 2016.
