Wren Hotel, Dublin

The last unitised glass panel was installed on the crystalline hotel façade of the Wren hotel on 6 November, after the super structure was topped out on 20 September. The building makes the most of its tight urban site when viewed discreetly between the Dublin streets and offers 137 compact and luxurious guestrooms in the heart of the Georgian city. Internal works are progressing at a rapid pace throughout the building, with works to the public areas on the lower ground floor also well advanced.

We are proud that the hotel is designed to be the first to be completely net zero carbon, (far exceeding the nZEB standard). We are working with the operator to achieve a carbon light operation targeting a zero single use plastic operation, zero fossil fuels and green power, all with no photovoltaics, local pollution or carbon offsets.

Our Dublin studio is currently involved in the design and development of 10 hotels and aparthotels in locations around Ireland and two in the UK.
