Project details

Maison de Radio-Canada is a creative hub for media and digital production. Creators and programmers work within modern and versatile spaces which support the collaborative workplace strategy of the digital, multiplatform public broadcaster.

The open house atrium brings the creative process to the centre stage, enabling both staff and the public to witness and experience the daily vibrancy of life at MRC. Visitors can look into control rooms, observe the production of television and radio shows, and even become part of the action when news broadcasts are filmed in studios. The space allows people to reconnect with each other, the neighbourhood, and the city. At the heart of MRC lies a landscaped public court which provides a green space for staff but also serves as an amphitheatre for screenings and performances.
