School of the Future Competition

BDP’s engineering team in London is inviting Key Stage 3 pupils (Years 7-9) at local schools to submit their ideas for a school of the future as part of International Women in Engineering Day on 23 June. Entrants are required to design an education building for the year 2030, creating a poster that captures its function, future technology, sustainability and construction.

This competition will reward students who successfully employ their creativity and engineering skills, as well as encouraging the take up of STEM subjects at GCSE and inspire future engineers.

Amazon gift vouchers will be awarded to the winner and runner up who will be picked by our international interdisciplinary engineering team. The chosen top two will also receive an opportunity for the BDP team to visit their school and discuss careers in engineering. The entry deadline is 15 June. A detailed brief, entry requirements and how to enter are outlined in this School of the Future Competition guide.
