Svetlana has over 20 years of international experience spanning various sectors including science and research, education, community, and residential. A talented designer and hands-on director, Svetlana draws on the experience she has gained delivering high-profile, large-scale projects to influence and direct stakeholder briefing and subsequent design development. This approach enables the creation of innovative and inspiring ‘places’ whilst providing clients with confidence that the proposals can be delivered.
In her work, Svetlana has developed a passion for sustainability and environmental conservation and is enthusiastic about low-energy environmental design.
Her completed projects include the award-winning Teaching and Learning Building for the University of Birmingham, College of Arts and Humanities for Coventry University, Trinity Academy in Bristol, King Edward’s VI Sports facilities in Birmingham, and Brentford social Housing scheme in Hounslow. She is currently delivering the new Clinical Skills Facility for UoB, and also leading the design for R&D headquarters for a West-based company, PepsiCo.
Svetlana is leading the education sector in Birmingham and is well-engaged with the local design community through her prior role as vice-chair of Birmingham Design Review Panel.
