The Yorkdale Shopping Centre’s award-winning store features a distinctive storefront crafted from over 20 types of recycled wood, highlighting sustainability and a connection to nature. The original location received acclaim for its innovative design, and after being relocated and refurbished in 2016 with new glass detailing, it demonstrates how a brand’s identity can be both reinforced and reimagined through thoughtful design. This tenant fit-out represents a key Toronto outlet for a global leader.
The store showcases how inspired design can simultaneously strengthen and reinvent brand identity. Embodying experiential retail, several locations designed by our studio integrate retail with additional amenities such as a yoga studio, client meeting spaces, and a juice/coffee bar. Responding to consumer demand for environments that prioritise personal experience, these unique store offers far more than shopping, creating a holistic, multi-faceted brand experience.
