Andrew has 21 years' experience in structural design, working for BDP from a graduate to his current role as Civil & Structural Engineering Director. Andrew is responsible for the development and design of civil and structural engineering projects within the Manchester office varying in size, choice of structural material and sector. Andrew is also responsible for helping the development of graduate engineers and engineers within the office.
Andrew has experience across a number of sectors, with the majority of his projects being within the leisure and education sectors. Andrew brings enthusiasm to all his projects, with an aim to minimise the impact of his projects on the environment. Andrew has been a key driver within our group to research and implement proposals to improve the sustainability of concrete structures through used or recycled materials and worked on an all timber secondary school project that offset all carbon created during its construction activities.
