The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave is a transformative 350-acre masterplan set along the Sabarmati River in Amdavad, designed by a consortium of BDP, Cox Architecture, and Collage Design.

It's a new urban district where elite sport and everyday community life intersect, the project establishes a landmark destination that positions the city as India’s emerging sports capital while delivering long-term social, environmental, and economic value.
Anchored by the 132,000 seat Narendra Modi Stadium, the masterplan is structured around a central green boulevard and a network of climate responsive public spaces.
The enclave brings together a suite of world class sporting venues, including a flagship International Tennis Centre, a major Indoor Arena, and a state-of-the-art Aquatic Centre, all designed to meet global competition standards and support major international events such as the 2030 Commonwealth Games centenary. Complementing these is the National Institute of Sports Excellence, a high performance training campus dedicated to nurturing future generations of athletes.
The project is designed for adaptability, ensuring continued use beyond major events, while the riverfront Games Plaza and expansive parkland create a vibrant public realm for recreation, culture, and community life.
