Dev Mehta

Dev is equal parts creative and pragmatic, which leads to inspired and functional designs. He received his Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture at Carleton University.

Dev collaborates with ambitious clients to design and deliver large, increasingly complex and demanding mixed-use developments with a focus on multi-unit residential and commercial intensification around expanding transit infrastructure. His most notable work includes the Downtown Markham Public Realm Plan, a significant master-planned urban community;

3300 Rutherford Road, a sensitively integrated complete community in Vaughan; McNaughton Community (Chelsea Maple Station), a series of mid-rise and high-rise buildings forming a transit-oriented community with a unified public realm; the Bata Shoe Factory, the transformation and revitalisation of a historic factory; and The Kingsway, a medium density, mixed-tenure residential community in Etobicoke.

Dev has been actively engaged in local industry networks, including BILD Toronto and volunteer roles with ULI Toronto and the Ontario Association of Architects.
