Located at 725 Village Green Boulevard, near the intersection of Cawthra Road and Atwater Avenue, the development strengthens the fabric of an established neighbourhood by blending architecture, landscape and community life into an “urban oasis.”

Comprising three mid-rise buildings - two eight storeys and one nine storeys - Village Green will deliver 431 purpose-built rental suites ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes, including two-storey townhomes and penthouses. The design balances density with human scale, responding sensitively to the Port Credit context while meeting Mississauga’s growing demand for high-quality rental housing.

Drawing inspiration from natural textures and colours, the architecture connects contemporary living with the restorative qualities of the outdoors. A rich array of shared spaces, including a greenhouse, rooftop terraces, chef’s kitchen, coworking areas and wellness amenities, encourages residents to come together, relax and grow. Every element has been conceived to support a balanced lifestyle rooted in wellbeing, sustainability and belonging.

Les Klein for quote

“Village Green embodies how thoughtful mid-rise design can create places where people feel both connected and restored. Our goal was to design homes that support community living and individual wellbeing in equal measure - where architecture, landscape and sustainability come together to create a sense of calm and comfort in an urban setting.”

Les Klein, Principal, Co-Founder and Studio Head, BDP Quadrangle.

Targeting LEED Gold certification, Village Green integrates a full spectrum of sustainable design strategies, from suite-specific Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) systems and rainwater harvesting for irrigation to EV-ready parking and abundant bicycle storage supporting low-carbon mobility. Landscaped outdoor spaces and rooftop terraces enhance biodiversity, manage stormwater and mitigate the urban heat island effect, creating a resilient, future-ready community.

Beyond its architecture, Village Green is a statement about the evolving character of urban housing. It provides much-needed “missing middle” housing in a city with limited rental supply while fostering a sense of community and belonging through inclusive, barrier-free design. When complete, Village Green will set a new benchmark for purpose-built rental communities in the Greater Toronto Area - where design, sustainability and social connection meet to elevate everyday living.
