As the Transport Planning Lead for BDP in the UK, Rob oversees overall transport planning output, sector financial performance and client engagement from BDP's Manchester studio. He works closely with the Architecture, Civils and Structures teams to strengthen and broaden BDP's multi-disciplinary offer.
His project experience covers a wide variety of detailed to strategic projects from walking, cycling, public transport, highway design and junction modelling focused projects through to larger scale projects such as the HS2 programme in the UK and the Waitemata Harbour Connections project in NZ. He specialises in supporting the urban design process with his expertise in transport planning and engineering, combined with his urban planning, public transport provision, street design and public realm design knowledge and experience.
An active member of the Academy of Urbanism in the UK, Rob has over 25 years of experience working collaboratively with other professions in the planning and construction sectors, providing transport planning advice, supporting sustainable solutions and contributing to the analytical, engagement, design and visioning elements of each project he work on.
